Dr. Bill Bateman
MBBS FRACGP DRANZCOG
Dr Bateman is an experienced, former rural ‘cradle to the grave’ family GP and has delivered over 800 babies in country practice. He has special interests in paediatrics, young families, shared care obstetrics, skin cancer, men’s health and travel medicine.
Outside interests include family, surfing and reading and writing fiction. Bills debut crime fiction novel, “Hard Labour”, was published in early 2017.
Dr. John Clifforth
Dr Clifforth has been the principal of Albert Park Medical Centre for over 10 years and has practiced in the area for approximately 20 years. He is an experienced family physician and has special qualifications in Skin Cancer management and dermoscopy. John is an accomplished musician who has written songs for the likes of Paul Kelly and Renee Geyer. He also enjoys painting and surfing.
Dr. Ewa Conroy
Dr Conroy is interested in all aspects of medicine with equal interests in Men’s and Women’s health.
Dr Conroy is fluent in Polish, enjoys outdoor activities and animal rights
Dr. Peter Dwyer

Dr Dwyer is an experienced general practitioner with extensive experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics and women’s health, having spent two years delivering babies in the United Kingdom. Peter’s interests include cycling, hiking and coffee.
Dr. Jillian Grogan
MBBS M Med
Dr Grogan is experienced in all areas of family medicine, with particular interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Mental Health and Aged Care. Jill enjoys alpine trekking, classical music and spending time with her family.
Dr. Jessica Maher
MBBS FRACGP Dip Child Health
Dr Maher is originally from Queensland, having completed her Medical Degree at James Cook University in North Queensland. Jessica moved to Victoria for her General Practice training and completed her Fellowship in 2013. Jessica worked in paediatrics for two years prior to her General Practice career and has completed a diploma in Child Health. Jessica enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and undertakes minor procedures in the practice. On a personal level Jessica enjoys traveling, staying active and experiencing the many cultural events Melbourne has to offer.
Dr. Min Teo
FRACGP, ClinDipPallMed, Dip Child Health, MBChB, BHB, BTech(Hons)
Having trained in urban and rural New Zealand and Australia, Dr Teo has a holistic approach to healthcare. Beyond general practice, he has interests in sexual health, gay men’s health, child/adolescent health and palliative care, and is a certified MS 2-Step prescriber. He can perform minor surgical procedures, including excision/biopsy of skin lesions, ingrown toenail wedge resection, and Implanon insertion/removal. In his spare time, Dr Teo enjoys running, hiking, cooking, photography and singing.
Dr. Jonathan Upfal
Dr Jonathan Upfal graduated with honours from Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney in 1983.
He is the author of the “Australian Drug Guide”, a plain language multi-bestselling guide to prescription and over the counter drugs.
The Eighth edition of the Australian Drug Guide will be released by Black Inc. in 2016 in print, and as a mobile application.
(Dr Upfal is also principal author of “Your Medical Tests: What Do They Really Mean?”, published in 2001.) He has mainly worked in general practice and psychiatry. He has special interest and expertise in neurofeedback which is a brainwave-based biofeedback therapy for self-regulation e.g. for migraine, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, panic attacks, depression, sleep disorders, or fibromyalgia.
He is a highly trained practitioner of dry needling for acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Dr Upfal also investigates and treats methylation and pyrrole disorders.

Dr Katrina Niles
Dr Katrina Niles completed her medical degree at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, London in 2009 . She completed her General Practice Training in the UK where she was awarded her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners of the United Kingdom and has worked in the UK for 7 years before moving to Australia. She has experience working in both rural and inner city settings having worked in hospitals and medical centres.
Katrina enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest in Women’s health, Fertility, Travel medicine, Sexual Health, Paediatrics and Implanon insertion/removal
Katrina is part of the teaching programme for medical students from Monash University. Through her teaching she hopes to inspire them to consider a career in General Practice.
Katrina enjoys food, travelling and maintaining an active lifestyle with hot pilates, cycling and skiing. She is always keen to hear of any new restaurants in town!
Dr Simon Hattle
Dr Simon Hattle graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2008, having previously completed a BSc in Pharmacology. After he completed his internship Dr Hattle undertook Core Medical training becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) London. He then completed a teaching fellowship gaining a Diploma in Clinical Education (Dip Clin Ed).
Dr Hattle subsequently specialised in General Practice becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and then a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He is interested in all aspects of General Practice as well as medical education. In 2019 he won the Best New Cinical Teacher Award from Monash University. During his time away from the practice Dr Hattle enjoys spending time with his young family as well as playing and watching sport.
